“She is my horizon of beauty, love and motherhood. […] My mother has always been for me the most beautiful in the world, the most resilient whatever the limits of this word,” wrote the writer Hemley Boum in a post published on her Instagram account in December 2024. This tribute in which she praises the virtues of the one who brought her into the world resonates with the words of those who chose, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, to tell Libération about the admiration they have for their mother.
